Earlier today, TikTok announced that they would be hosting the first TikTok Awards for Ireland and the UK. Taking place in London on Tuesday, 3 December, the event will be hosted by American TV personality Michelle Visage, and will feature performances by Bimini and Sugababes.
From sporting icons and rising stars in the fashion and beauty industry, to passionate foodies, and breakthrough entertainers, the nominees will celebrate a wide range of content creators.

Winners will be chosen by the TikTok community, with Irish fans invited to vote for their favorite creators directly on the platform. Voting can take place daily until Tuesday, 26 November and the link to cast votes can be found by searching 'TikTok Award' in-app.
In each of the 12 categories, there is at least one Irish content creator up against a number of their UK counterparts.
Posting about the awards to Instagram, 'Travel Creator of the Year' nominee Joshau Nueva told his followers that he was honoured to have landed onto the shortlist.
"I've been exploring Ireland for years, but even if this wasn't my full time job I'd still be doing exactly what I'm doing now but I'm extremely grateful to you all for supporting what I do and for allowing me to do what I love on a daily basis."
