Nicola Coughlan wears Irish design at 'Queer' screening

Nicola Coughlan braved the December chill to support Daniel Craig's latest film Queer, which had its gala screening at The Curzon Mayfair in London last night.

The Galway woman was among a host of stylish celebrities walking the dark blue carpet, including Craig himself, Cate Blanchett and Luca Guadagnino, who directed the adaptation of William Burroughs' semi-autobiographical novella of the same name.

The film features costumes by Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Loewe and JW Anderson. In honour of this, Coughlan made an entrance wearing an elegant Loewe design.

The Bridgerton star stepped out in a chich trench coat by the Spanish luxury brand, making a statement in one of the biggest colours of the season. The khaki cotton trench coat featured a long silhouette with dramatic oversized, curved sleeves, wide lapels and a simple gold buckle on the waist.

Coughlan paired this with chunky black Mary Jane-style heels, a white skirt and a black handbag.

Elsewhere on the night, Daniel Craig gave a masterclass on looking dapper and staying warm at the same time.

He made his own bold statement, arriving to the gala screening in a layered suit and overcoat combination, pairing a light brown suit with a matching herringbone coat, finished off with a cosy scarf to shield against the weather and orange tinted sunglasses.

Cate Blanchett, meanwhile, went bold with colour, stepping out in a multicoloured tartan co-ord featuring a buttoned up skirt and loose trousers, all covered in sparkling sequins.
