The Frontera has returned and while it has more in common with its predecessor than the new Capri does, the inspiration could have been stretched a little further. Moving forward the twenty six years since the last Frontera was last on sale, it's now powered by both electric and hybrid powertrains.
We don't have Irish prices just yet but Opel aims to have as little price disparity as possible between powertrains.
The hybrid engine is powered by a 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol turbo and on launch the fully electric version will have a range of around 300 kms with a long range version (400 km) to come later in 2025.
